about me:

Hello fellow traveler!

I am Jessica Jean Muir, a Peer Recovery Coach, Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant (QBHA), group facilitator, trauma-informed Somatic practitioner and group facilitator based in the Front Range of Colorado.

With over a decade of work experience in the self-development and wellness space and 9 years of lived experience as a person in recovery, my work centers around supporting individuals in processes of self-development and healing through 1:1 coaching, groups and somatic work.

After an arduous battle with addiction, I entered my own recovery journey in 2017. It was during this time that I experienced firsthand the transformational impact of a holistic approach to recovery and wellness. Blown away by the growth and healing I experienced in my own recovery, I was inspired to pursue professional training in Peer Recovery Support through Advocates for Recovery Colorado as well as QBHA certification through Colorado Skills Institute. My hope has always been that my work might help others to experience the gifts of recovery I have received myself. My professional background also includes extensive training and experience in: coaching and effective space holding, trauma-informed care, massage therapy, energy work, mindfulness, breath work facilitation, yoga instruction and psycho-somatic approaches to wellness. All of these modalities inform my grounded and holistic approach to peer recovery support work.

I support individuals through a person-first, strengths-based, holistic and trauma-informed lens, honoring that there is no single definition of, or pathway to, recovery. I am deeply committed to creating stigma-free, bias-aware, and ethically held spaces where individuals can explore recovery on their own terms while feeling seen, respected, and supported. My approach emphasizes authentic connection, somatic mind-body awareness, community care, empowerment, and meeting people where they are in their process.

In addition to one-on-one recovery coaching, I have extensive experience facilitating support groups, workshops, women’s circles, and community healing spaces focused on recovery, resilience, emotional wellness, and personal transformation. I am the founder of Soma-House Massage Studio and previously founded Sovereign Soul Collective, both of which were created with the intention of fostering connection, healing, and embodied community experiences.

I currently offer peer recovery coaching, support groups, workshops, and recovery-centered community spaces for individuals navigating active addiction, early recovery, long-term recovery and self-development processes. I am continuously committed to stigma and bias-free containers, person-first language and facilitation, and brave spaces that attempt to get as close to “safe” as possible. I am continuously educating myself about ethical best-practices and holding clients in their processes with clean and clear boundaries and containment.

In addition to my work inside of Many Pathways Coaching, I also work for Sagebrush Recovery as a Peer Recovery Coach and QBHA. In my role at Sagebrush, I work with women in early recovery both 1:1 and in facilitated group settings.

I live in a magical canyon town outside of Boulder, CO with my husband and our pup, Lucy (pictured above!). I love time in the sun and water, learning and self-development, creating art and spending time with my favorite people. I have a passion for advocacy, truth-telling and laughing even, and especially, when things are hard.

I look forward to connecting with you, please reach out with any questions you may have. I am here to support.

Jessica Jean Muir

INSURANCE AND PAYMENT NOTICE: If you are an individual with Medicaid, I can accept your insurance through my role within this Sagebrush Recovery. All other client-work is currently out-of-pocket pay. I do offer a needs-based sliding scale upon request, simply reach out for consideration.

My Approach

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Dream it

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.

Build it

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
